We welcome students of all ages — from young children beginning with the Arabic alphabet to adults pursuing advanced Tajweed or Hifz. Classes are structured and paced according to each student's level and goals.
We offer Quran instruction in English, Urdu, Arabic, and Dari/Farsi. Both male and female teachers are available across these languages, so students can be matched with a teacher suited to their background and preference.
Both options are available. One-on-one classes are recommended for Tajweed correction and Hifz, where individual attention makes a significant difference. Small group options are also available for families or siblings who prefer to learn together.
Al Hidayah Academy is primarily an online institution, serving students globally. For families in the East San Francisco Bay Area or Sacramento region, in-person instruction may be arranged on a case-by-case basis. Contact us to discuss availability in your area.
Classes are conducted live via video call — real-time instruction with an assigned teacher, not pre-recorded content. This allows for immediate Tajweed correction, direct questions, and the kind of teacher-student relationship that Quranic learning has always relied on.
Sessions are typically 30–60 minutes, with frequency ranging from twice to five times per week depending on the student's goals and schedule. Consistency matters most — even two focused sessions per week will produce measurable progress over time.
Yes. Al Hidayah Academy operates under the direct supervision of Mufti Siraj Ahmed — a graduate of Darul Uloom University, Karachi, and a direct student of Justice Mufti Taqi Usmani. English instruction is directed by Shaykh Ebrahim Elsafty, an Al-Azhar graduate holding Ijazah in Hafs 'an Asim. All instructors are vetted for both scholarly credentials and teaching quality.
